Sergio Lyra – Ventos De Havana
The Brazilian saxophonist, composer and arranger Sergio Lyra presented the phonogram Ventos De Havana, a project that combines Cuban rhythms with harmonies of Jazz and Brazilian Popular Music (MPB). Lyra, a musician with extensive experience in countries like France and his native Brazil, and also an educator, works on the album with the members of Lyra Latina, a septet created by Sergio himself in São Paulo.
Ventos De Havana is an album that allows the free development of each of its components, with improvisations that captivate and highlight the rhythmic and harmonic mixture between Cuba, New Orleans and Brazil. An exercise of Latin Jazz of the highest invoice that makes us happy.
