Is a Brazilian singer who mixes elements of Cuban music with elements of Brazilian music in her songs. His first album, Marina de la Riva, was not only well received by the public, but also by critics.


For this album, she won the APCA female revelation prize (popular music category) and was nominated for the Tim Music Award for foreign language disc (special category). Marina has already released two studio albums, one live and one DVD.


​His connection with Cuba is not restricted to a mere matter of musical taste: his father is Cuban, emigrated in Brazil; The mother is from Araguari (Minas Gerais). Marina's father and grandparents went to Miami at the time of the Cuban Revolution in 1959.
