Jerry González was one of the key figures in Latin jazz. This trumpeter and New York conguero with 6 Grammy nominations to his credit, collaborated for years with jazz giants and Latin music such as Dizzy Gillespie, Eddie Palmieri, Tito Puente, McCoy Tyner and Jaco Pastorius and has been part of four Grammy winning albums .


However, he was the leader of "Jerry Gonzalez and The Fort Apache Band", which has earned recognition as one of the most innovative voices on the music scene. He appeared in sextet with a repertoire based on his "Comando de la Clave"
