Irene brings many experiences to her passionate musical performances.  She has performed for audiences from Los Angeles to Paris to Martinique to Bora Bora.  She has studied singing, piano, acting, dancing, screenwriting, and comedy troupe improvisation. And she sings in English, French, Spanish, and Portugues.

Irene is backed by a band with many accolades. Rique Pantoja(piano/keyboards) is a recording artist in his own right.

He has recorded with Chet Baker, Milton Nacimento, Carlos Santana among others. Scott Martin (saxophone and flute) has won a grammy as part of the Pancho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band; Frank Zottoli (piano & background vocals) played with Stan Getz, The Pointer Sisters, Johnny Mathis and more.

Marco Tulio (acoustic guitar) won the “Virtuosi Award” from the Brazilian Ministry of Culture in 1997; Cristiano Novelli (percussion) performed at the 6th Annual Latin Grammy Awards; Daniel Groisman (bass) has played with famed artists Enrique Iglesias, and Joan Sebastian; Jesus Florido (violin) from Venezuela (Dan Hicks and the Hotlicks, Nicholas Gunn, Zubin Mehta, Itzhak Perlman, Whitney Houston), Richie Gajate Garcia (drums and percussion) from Puerto Rico (Sting, Phil Collins, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Diana Ross, Hiroshima), Brian Boyce is heard on vibraphone, percussion, orchestral bells, and drums (The Archibald Leeches, Plan B Entertainment, Musical Theater Guild, Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra); 14-year-old trumpet player Adam Hall makes his recording debut on Irene’s new Christmas CD.  Her longtime collaborator Alex Varden sings background vocals along with Janie Wallace.

Irene Nachreiner with Her Latin Jazz Band have just released their third CD “A Hot and Spicy Christmas,” a collection of Brazilian and Latin Jazz tunes with a mix of calypso, bossa nova, cumbia, festejo, and other rhythms.
