Born in Louisiana and raised in New Mexico, saxophonist and flutist Doug Lawrence presents Sabor, a mouthpiece of what will be his most recent musical production Doug Lawrence Plays Latin Jazz, which will be released this 2020.
During his stay of more than 25 years in New York City, Lawrence worked a name accompanying artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Wilson, Buck Clayton, Dizzy Gillespie, Wild Bill Davis, Benny Goodman, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, among others.
In the same way, and for 20 years it has been an integral part of the acclaimed Count Basie Orchestra.
The single Flavor has perfect cadence for both the music lover and the dancer and highlights Lawrence himself on flute and Tomas White on the timbales.
